Posted about this car a couple weeks ago and I went after it. I did not use “goo” to buy it but used a reputable importer to try to acquire it from that dealership for me.
Basically ~27k miles, one owner, all original, and I am told it is basically a flawless car. I’ll post some pictures in detail and the import process after I receive it but there are some decent pictures in that link.

lmao hell no. If I wanted to do that I wouldn’t do it to one like this.
What’s funny is almost all the RX7s I saw for sale in japan are as you describe.
I have a R32 Skylines GTS-T that i mod. I want this car to hold it’s value so the extent of my mods might be a tune and exhaust if anything. I would like some BBS wheels like the Type RZ has maybe even try to get Type RZ wheels.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why if you own LHD RX-7 in the US now, you should hurry the fuck up to sell it! JDM ones are coming and will bing the value down like crazy... These, with higher mileage, can be found for 5000$ at auctions here. All the people who bought FDs in the US in the hope of seeing gain in value overtime are in for a massive desappointment lol

That’s amazing! Correct transmission, awesome color, looks perfect.
Personal preference: pls don’t touch the spoiler. I’ve noticed that people like to change spoilers regardless of what they get. If it has a spoiler they remove it. If not, they put one on. That one looks great, much better than the naked look, leave it as is!

I don’t mess with the appearance of cars typically unless it’s to fix things.

What it should do is cause US ones to go down and JDM ones to go up and they will meet in the middle somewhere. A lot of people are ignorant to JDM imports though, like 240sx prices haven’t really gone down despite the fact I can get a Silvia.

The BIG difference being that 240SX do not sell for 30k$... FD RX-7 will go up in prices at auction due to the cars being exported, but most of all, LHD RX-7 will drastically go down in price. Don’t forget FD3S are sold used by the dozen at auctions here... The absolute most expensive one to sell during the past 3 months, was a 2000 Type-Rb that sold for 1.9 million yen (17000$). A huge majority sold for less than 1 million yen each (9000$)...
That car pictured sold for 285000 yen (2500$) with 130000km on the clock and I’ve seen many sell for less than that.
Buying a 1993 FD RX-7 in Japan is a good thing to do as next year it will go up in value quite a bit. But USDM RX-7? Oh man, owners of those who thought it would be a good investment are in for a surprise over the next few years lol
